Plans allow you to specify how many concurrent streams/devices are allowed on that plan, whether transcoding is allowed etc. When a plan it attached to a payment and payment to a user, that user is then governed by the plan and limits are enforced. Users exceeding their plan limits, will get their streams stopped and a notification will be sent to them informing them of the violation (see message templates for email and discord notifications). Plan enforcement limits run every 5 minutes.
